Peter Parker & Norman Osborn... I don't get it...

Waitasecond...

Norman sexually abused & eventually killed Gwen Stacy.
He killed Peter & Mary-Jane's baby.
He killed Ben Reilly.
He indirectly caused the death of Harry & Ned Leeds, & by doing so ruined the lives of Betty Brant & Liz Allen.
He kidnapped Mary-Jane.
He kidnapped Aunt May twice & had Peter believe she died once...

Isn't that ENOUGH!!!

Why doesn't Peter kill the bastard once & for all? I mean, i'm definitly against death penalty & i know Peter's no killer & i don't wish him to become one but... how come he can MANAGE not to kill Osborn?

Let's think about it for ONE second: if a guy had done to you & the people you love what Osborn has done to Peter & his family & friends, would you be able to let the man live knowing he'll KEEP ON hurting everyone you love? By letting Norman live Peter almost condemns MJ & Aunt May to death!!!

At best, Norman should be put in jail for life & now he's been rehabilitated & nominated director of the Thunderbolts.

& Peter lets this happen?

I just don't get it. Peter is a great man but he's neither Jesus nor a saint. What's the hell's happening?

According to Peter Parker himself, if he were to ever get into the temptation of killing Norman Osborn, Peter himself would lose the last remaining positive memory of his beloved Gwen Stacey (his first true love long before Mary Jane Watson). By choice, he refused to give Norman the satisfaction. Therefore Peter (as Spiderman) would rather give Norman serious injuries via a beatdown and then let the American Justice System decide Norman's fate for his past/present crimes.

IMO, I would have taken more of The Punisher approach and just shoot Norman.

I think i would have taken the Punisher approach, too. Norman being rehabilitated should prove Peter how much he can trust the US justice system: when you're a superhuman that can be used, then you're somehow more valuable as a special agent than as an inmate!!!
