Papa Johns. After I saw their opperations on "Unwrapped" it was confirmed for me anyways.

They make their own sauce, hand toss their own dough like a real pizzaria, and they offer a size small whereas Pizza Hut only lets you get a medium or a personal pan only. Not only that but their dough has a nice sweet taste to it so their breadsticks are good to eat just plain even.

Pizza Hut has too much pepper in their sauce and it is not made fresh within 48 hours, they squirt LARD into their pizza pans before they put the dough in which is not hand tossed, and the food leaves me feeling ill.

Just had Papa Johns extra cheese pizza last night and it was GOOD.

To summarize:

Pizza Hut = Grease factory
Papa Johns = Yummy Freshness
biggrin

and didn't the CEO of Pizza Hut go over to Papa Johns a few years back? I seem to remember a big media campaign around that.

Being here in NYC, there is no need for either, even though they are here too. New York pizza beats all of their asses like it's nothing. If I had to choose, I'd go for Papa Johns. Pizza Hut is good too but I like PJ's pizza more. Plus, their garlic sauce with the pizza is too good. I know I gained a good 15-20 pounds off of that shit alone before I left the military lol.

that garlic butter stuff is evil! if i lived in nyc, i wouldn't set foot in a chain. too much great pizza there.

I don't. NYC is the best when it comes to original pizza but one of my food goals is to have Chicago's deep dish pizza. I'v had Pizzaria Uno but I want a real one when I finally visit the place. nod

Damn Skippy.

I used to eat their all of the time, and I think they originated the dessert pizza.

I need to take some friends there and break out of the norm!
