Makeup?? What are the reasons for makeup? In my opinion it is just deception on many levels right? I mean, you are wearing it to enhance or hide something. Why not just be what you are and let that be your beacon to the world/masses to behold and love?

So tell me what your reasons are for wearing makeup? Is it societal pressure or self esteem issues?

I like my women Au Naturale.....TALK TO ME LADIES!!

so you're saying that you don't date women who wear make-up?

yeah right brotha rolleyes

I said I like my women Au Naturel.....but I am not going to fight a woman just because she chooses to wear eyeliner and lipstick....but if she wishes to clown herself up...I am gone!

nod I also think so many guys are just goofy about it. They'd probably meet these chicks on the street & think they looked so great & natural!

They just have no idea that makeup can look very natural & half the chicks they think are so cute naturally are actually wearing makeup shrug

.
[Edited 5/13/07 8:10am]

nod and they say it actually takes MORE make up to have a natural look. I've heard many make up artist say that.

Nobody's all natural, thank god!

Makeup isn't necessary (and it's a little weird when you think about it), but neither is yoga, little black dresses, shaving, long hair, eating right, or any number of things that are either healthy, fun, sexy or interesting.

Do you write women off if you can tell they're wearing makeup? I don't mean florescent orange lipstick and magenta blush, but one look at my red lips - you know it's lipstick.

So it is about aesthetics then? Aesthitics to me is dressing up nicely, but to hide shit or enhance something that is not entirely yours is just deception.

Soooo...what happened? You woke up one morning and freaked out seeing someone next to you who's makeup had rubbed off, and it got scarey?

EXCUSE ME! Sorry to interupt the frivolous discussions but I have something important to say! The temp in SF is in the 40's and windy, therefore I have to change the game plan. I'll wear a Double D velour coat, slip dress and thigh high velvet boots. Therefore, the make-up will have to be darker. Darker shadows, eyeliner, mascara, and red lipstick. A heavier face cream will be needed with the windy climate. Plus everything else I previously mentioned.
OK Back to the debates!

I forgot to mention my 3121 pin on the lapel.
