I used to work in accounts receivable and that check was walked directly to the bank and deposited asap. I was so scared someone would mug me on the 2 block walk.

But cash---probably 25 or 30k...again from the accounting job. I would get so jaded, " We only made $10k at the event last night." Then I would stop and think, "If someone gave me 10k in cash I'd be damn happy."
