I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I know it's tough.

I lost both parents in similar ways - Dad to cancer; Mom to emphysema. What got me through was realizing that I had great parents for 40 years. I was lucky. So many kids don't have two parents, or they have parents that don't love them.

So many people lose their loved ones suddenly and lose that last chance to tell them how they feel. At least you and I had the opportunity to let our feelings be known.
