I HATE THAT TOO! Especially at Christmas. After I got married my mother-in-law wanted the family to get together and watch us open presents the next day, I went  I just didn't feel it was appropriate since 95% of the gifts didn't come from family. Plus I didn't think they needed to see how much money we got from people either. | |

Me too. I hate, hate, HATE opening presents in front of people. I always feel like I have to act more excited than I am so they won't feel bad. And I'm very self-conscious about it.
