Ok, not to put a damper on this thread but,
Trust me from the heart, that it is not what you give your Mom...it's that you remember her. Acknowledge her, let her know you love her, spend time with her, even if it's just doing something simple with her like a walk. My Mom passed away 10 years ago, and I thought I was a pretty good daughter, but to this day I always feel like I should have done more things with her. She loved to go to lunch, just sit and talk girl things, she loved to go to the nursery to walk around and look at flowers ( I thought this was the most boring thing in the world, but it made her happy)

I love doing this. lol

My mother is the selfless type who rarely does anything nice for herself. She works out nearly every day, but never goes for a massage or anything.

I just got her a gift certificate for a holistic aromatherapy/hot stone massage. I'm so excited to give it to her! giggle

What a nice daughter!!

I love doing this NOW, but 10-12-13 years ago...I woulda given my right arm not to go with my Mom to the nursery.

Will you beat me? I didn't receive nearly enough beatings as a child.
