i thought the worst got the boot ... after the dust settles .... these are left ...

1.there is still Jordin Sparks - nice hair . i have heard her name mentioned as "flying under the radar - even tho she kinda stumbled on bon jovi week... i was rootin for her ...

2. Melinda . ok . she dont look like an "american idol" but ... her voice is the best . most consistent .

3. the only dude ... whats his name . Blake. something about him bothers me sometimes but his bon jovi week performance BLEW ME AWAY - reminded me alot of that girl from last yr when she was balsy and did "somewhere over the rainbow" -and made it her own . Definately in the top 2 now in my opinion !

4. LaKisha Jones- probably the most inconsistent of the bunch . i predict she is next to go .

I LOVE Melinda Doolittle. I think she's amazing. I like Jordin a lot but is inconsisten. I really like Lakisha but she's also inconsistant. I preferred Chris Richardson to Blake but Blake DID do a great job this week. I was really starting to like the bald guy too.

Overall I think Melinda will take it.

p.s. Robin Thicke was sooo great. I got to see him open up for India Arie. He's got a beautiful voice. That falsetto is off the hook.

u really think melinda will take it ... i do think her voice is the best - consistently ... but i do not think America will vote for her ....

My friends have issues with her winning because she has been on tour as a backup singer with major artists. They feel that it is unfair for her to even be in the competition.

it seems there are alot of back up singers .... who make it ... sheryl crow , that paula (there was a thread recently on her ... she sang that "cowboy" song ) but i knew her from when she sang backup to peter gabriel ..... and i am sure i can come up with others .... lol

Melinda's by far the best singer and a complete pro compared to the rest. If the voters are honest she should win. She's never given a bad performance. But she doesn't have a huge amount of style and she's not as cute as Jordin.

Blake's the most creative, alternately great, dull, and anoying. I like that he will sing straight occasionally & risk being dull, but I can't stand his dancing.

Lakisha is inconsistent, and not terriby original in style, not to mention the least cute. But she's good. I just don't think she has a chance.

Jordin is the prettiest, has the nicest voice, and at 17 is just going to get better. She's likeable and fits the image of what the show is looking for. I even thought she was decent doing Bon Jovi. She's my prediction, if not my pick, to win.
