Yes, this is his personal issue that shouldn't have been made public. If a celebrity were to act like this in public I suppose they are fair game, but this is different.

jeez talk about kicking a guy when hes down. So what he's a 'star' he is also human. We all have our moments of being down and under stress how would you like it if when you in a downward cycle some one posted a video of you doing some shite things bet you wouldnt like it, just mkes it harder for the poor guy to get back to his comfort zone. Well done all of you that have put him down mad

sad i didn't like watching that video, it was upsetting...not that i like Hoff, but the fact it was his (obviously) young daughters fliming.

It brought back memories for me with my dad, i know they meant to shame him into stop drinking and sometimes steps like this are nesscary to make the parent wake up to the damage they are causing to the children and themselves.

It just hurt me to see it.

My father was an alcoholic till the day he died at 65. I never really saw him as I saw David Hasselhoff. My father just had a pathetic glaze over his face, and very moody and bossy. David looked non-threatning..like he could not even stand if he wanted to. Alcoholism in the family is one of the saddest things, you never had a sense of what being normal is. Always waiting for the next shoe to drop, always tense. I wouldn't wish it on any child to go through. sad

Ok, I just watched it, or a part of it and it wasn't as bad as I thought. I didn't want to see it at first because I thought that it was out ONLY for the purpose of embarrassing him just as Alec Baldwin's phone message was, somewhere I found a bit of conscience and empathy for him. I don't want to watch anymore but in a roundabout way, I can understand the intent of of it, he did need some help for the problem and I don't think his daughter was being malicious. As long as he owns his troubles, I hope he recovers.

Watched it. One of the responses he made to his daughter was "I'm lonely".
(I haven't gotten that drunk in a long while. If I do, you'll be the 1st to know)
He's clearly wasted. Is this a regular state? Maybe a once in a while bender?
Recent info states this was an agreement between he and his daughter, he went into rehab, and someone had access to the video and posted it.
Who's responsible for posting it on the internet?

Having raised 3 children.....think about turning the video cam the other way and take a look at what teens do.....I've seen alot worse than being wasted eating food off the floor.

I'm waiting for The Hoff to do the talk-show circuit - you know it's coming. How about a session with Dr. Phil?

I really HOPE that this wasn't a publicity stunt, because that would implicate his daughter in the scam.
...and that would be unforgivable.

Otherwise, it's a sad, sad example of how an alcoholic can bottom out. As a kid, I often saw my dad get so drunk that he could barely make it from the living room to the bedroom. Thankfully my dad sobered up. Let's pray that Hasselhoff does the same.

I do not believe this to be a publicity stunt. Listen to the voice of the daughter, that was my voice some 30 years ago.
