i didn't like watching that video, it was upsetting...not that i like Hoff, but the fact it was his (obviously) young daughters fliming.

It brought back memories for me with my dad, i know they meant to shame him into stop drinking and sometimes steps like this are nesscary to make the parent wake up to the damage they are causing to the children and themselves.

It just hurt me to see it.

My father was an alcoholic till the day he died at 65. I never really saw him as I saw David Hasselhoff. My father just had a pathetic glaze over his face, and very moody and bossy. David looked non-threatning..like he could not even stand if he wanted to. Alcoholism in the family is one of the saddest things, you never had a sense of what being normal is. Always waiting for the next shoe to drop, always tense. I wouldn't wish it on any child to go through.

There's a reason I've never been drunk in my life, and here's one example of why.
