You have a receipe for them? excited Mine were premade and frozen, all's I had to do was bake them in the oven. They're good for not being homemade.

Ok...recipe...

about 2 lbs of potatoes
about 4 tbs of butter
about 1/2 cup of milk or half and half
one good size bulb of garlic
salt and pepper to taste

preheat oven to 350 and cut off the top of the bulb of garlic. drizzle it with olive oil and wrap it in foil and put it in the oven and roast for about an hour.

Peel and cut up the taters about 1/2 inch cube size and rinse them to get the starch off. Then put in pot with enough cold water to cover them. Cook them until they are fork-tender (it usually takes about 30 min) and drain them.
When the garlic is done cooking add the milk, butter and salt and pepper to the cooked potatoes and then squeeze the garlic into them too (the garlic will have a loose, paste-like texture) and then whip everything together with an electric mixer.

I roast a whole head of garlic, lob off the top and squeeeze the cloves into the potatoes. Much more butter, too. Also use a Sonoma Williams potatoe masher. Looks like a garlic press, only bigger. Has different disks for puree.

Just ad a bit of garlic powder to plain mashed potatoes...
and a bit of parmesan (sp?) cheese.
