Printablesexinthesummer said: a month ago, i decided to pack up my kids and drive to las vegas. it's a 750 mile drive. as i get into the rocky mountains, it's a total white out, blizzard conditions, instead of goin the 70 miles per hour, i was forced to drive 15-20 miles per hour. it took me 14 hours, to drive what should have been a 10 hour drive. my car is small, but the tires are awesome, so when the plows and semi's would fly by goin 30-40 mph, it made it very stressful.
on the return home, i was so stressed out about the drive home, i couldn't fall asleep the night before. i finally took a tranquilizer, but i only slept for one hour. the drive home was much better tho, no blizzard.

How did you find Laos? I've only been to Vientiane and never for more than 3 or 4 days, but always enjoyed my time there. I like the people there. It's good that Mon can do a fair job of speaking with people too. The language isn't too dissimilar.  @ the guy farting in your friend's face. Never a good thing. | |

I'm thinking I may do a border run there in the near future and make it into more of a holiday, so perhaps I can check it out.  | |

i've slept in the car a few times on the side of the road.
and stayed in a room where you find mouse poop under the bathroom sink and one where you turn off the a/c because it's too loud to sleep but then the street noise is even worse so you turn the a/c back on. no real loathsome vacations per se.  glad you are back safe and sound She couldn't stop crying 'cause she knew he was gone to stay | |
