The title of this thread had me thinking of a nuclear family of people moonwalking MJ style through the park!
I love moon lit walks in the park like anyone else. . .but I have to actually moonwalk with my moon walk! TOO FUNNY!

I'm here
I didn't know it was full moon here and down under at the same time. I'm shocked and ashamed at my ignorance

They're all beautiful either way. So, according to YOUR "theory" there would be a dark side of the moon we never see

They're all beautiful either way. nope I just went and checked the way I shot them and they are in fact both un-rotated, so the moons axis must tilt, just as the earth's does! I mean different angles, not sides and yes pandy, we never ever see the other side of the moon, EVER, but I saw it on the telly once and it looks pretty boring [Edited 5/2/07 4:33am]

Actually, I think my picture may just be of a dirty street lamp. . [Edited 5/2/07 4:31am]

Since we only see one side at least it's the funny one

I mean different angles, not sides Okay now I'm confused. Just because the pictures are un-rotated doesn't mean the axis is not in the middle from our viewpoint, right? Maybe just a tiny bit (I can see some white between one of the dark spots and the edge in one of the pictures but not the other), but it's sure not a lot. Anyway, I guess I should go study moonography or whatever it might be called...

I was kidding. You know that, don't you? Well, you were laughing at and mocking my ignorance, so forgive me if I didn't find it all that funny.

Looking at these photos, and the fact that we never see the other hemisphere makes me think too it spins on an axis perpendicular to maybe our equator wow! Thailand is in the northern hemisphere isn't it? I wonder if the moon looks different from up there? Sweden even more so - go look out your window tonight, take a photo and report back.
