heroic acts!! ok people, use this thread to boast about your macho acts! your scraps! your acts of bravery! sheer stupidity! What did u do once that made u feel like a super hero.
Mine is from when i was 20years old (28 now). It was my birthday and i was walking home with a friend after the night out. I heard a woman screaming so i turned around to see a huge man pulling a woman by her hair and screaming how he was gonna kill her. I thought that if i shouted something it would disturb him and stop knowing he was being watched. i shouted "hey, get off of her" This guy looked up at me, pointed and said "i'm gonna fuckin kill you" This guy was huge, 6ft plus and built like a brick shit house. he must have been mid 30's. He pushes the woman away and she runs off. Meanwhile this beast is running directly for me screaming mentally. I just thought 'fuck' but i have never backed down from defending myself ever (ive never caused a fight or started one but i will alwyas defend myself). He reaches me and we lock arms - staring straight at each other - he looks wild. We continue to hold this grip for a few moments and in this time i just thought " i gotta take a chance here". So i let my grip go and quickly pushed him back to get my space and then BAM i knock him clean out with a right hook. His face just exploded over my jumper! eww.. The adrenaline was rushing now so i knelt on his shoulders and hit him again a few times whilst and shouted to my friend to ring the police. I continue to hold this guy down whilst waiting for the police. A few minutes pass and we decide to go (the guy is going nowhere). As we walk off, the police turn up and i hear the guy say "he did it". I think "shit" as the woman had dissapeared. It now looks like i have just smashed hell out of a guy. I walk back to the police officers and tell what happened. He wasnt believing it at first, then, luckily the woman who was being attacked came back and explained to the officer that i was protecting her. the officer just told me to "get gone" and they arrested him. Not advocating violence here. Just Loved the david and goliaeth aspect of it. And more importantly, Dont beat up on women or you'll get a warm ear. What heroic acts have u performed?  i've just met this wonderful orger today, mister 3121
and i must say, that is a pretty great story! this morning i kept a puppy from strangling himself with his tie out cord 
and if my new neighbors try to leave the little thing outside again tonight i will have words with them. 
it's going to get close to freezing tonight! not exactly heroic but i wanted to reply to this thread as i think the thread starter is pretty fantastic   She couldn't stop crying 'cause she knew he was gone to stay | |
