The Littlest Hobo smile

"Until tomorrow I'll just keep moving on..."

Does anyone know the complete lyrics?

THERE'S A VOICE,
THAT KEEPS ON CALLING ME.
DOWN THE ROAD,
IS WHERE I'LL ALWAYS BE.
EVERY STOP I MAKE,
I'LL MAKE A NEW FRIEND.
CAN'T STAY FOR LONG, JUST TURN AROUND AND I'M GONE AGAIN.

MAYBE TOMORROW, I'LL WANNA SETTLE DOWN,
UNTIL TOMORROW, I'LL JUST KEEP MOVING ON

DOWN THIS ROAD, THAT NEVER SEEMS TO END,
WHERE NEW ADVENTURE, LIES JUST AROUND THE BEND

SO IF YOU WANNA JOIN ME FOR A WHILE,
JUST GRAB YOUR HAT, COME TRAVEL LIGHT,
THAT'S HOBO STYLE.

MAYBE TOMORROW, I'LL WANT TO SETTLE DOWN,
UNTIL TOMORROW, THE WHOLE WORLD IS MY HOME

SO IF YOU WANNA JOIN ME FOR A WHILE,
JUST GRAB YOUR HAT, COME TRAVEL LIGHT,
THAT'S HOBO STYLE.

MAYBE TOMORROW, I'LL WANT TO SETTLE DOWN,
UNTIL TOMORROW, I'LL JUST KEEP MOVING ON.

Instrumental Bridge

MAYBE TOMORROW, I'LL WANT TO SETTLE DOWN,
UNTIL TOMORROW, I'LL JUST KEEP MOVING ON.

THERE'S A WORLD, THAT'S WAITING TO UNFOLD,
A BRAND NEW TALE, NO ONE HAS EVER TOLD,
WE'VE JOURNEY'D FAR BUT, YOU KNOW IT WON'T BE LONG,
WE'RE ALMOST THERE AND WE'VE PAID OUR FARE, WITH THE HOBO SONG.

MAYBE TOMORROW, I'LL WANT TO SETTLE DOWN,
UNTIL TOMORROW, I'LL JUST KEEP MOVING ON.

SO IF YOU WANNA JOIN ME FOR A WHILE,
JUST GRAB YOUR HAT, COME TRAVEL LIGHT,
THAT'S HOBO STYLE.

MAYBE TOMORROW I'LL FIND WHAT I CALL HOME,
UNTIL TOMORROW, YOU KNOW I'M FREE TO ROAM.

You all know 'em, you all mostly love 'em, they can't seem to get outta your head. We sing along to them as soon as the first note is droped. Here's my Top Ten, not in any particular order.

1. The Jefferson's (I had this song as a ringtone on phone once.

2. Good Times (The Ultimate struggle song, but damn good)

3. The Facts of Life (Dumb ass song, but catchy, the hardest thug sung along to this one)

4. Different Strokes (The best part was the "hmmm" at the end of the song)

5. Shaft (This song screams ass whuppin')

6. Rawhide (I just like the whip sound)

7. Baretta (That white boy be "sangin")

8. Growing Pains (see #3, Sha la la laaa)

9. Moonloghting (You can't go wrong with Al singing the hook)

10. Sanford and Son (No lyrics, but when you heard it, you knew junk was for sale)

I'm sure I've missed some classic ones, but this is my top ten, what's yours???

I don't know about Top Ten, but #1 is definitely "Good Times" -- great lyrics and vocals. Laverne & Shirley was also a fav of mine -- great motivational song. Next is probably "Courtship of Eddie's Father" and then maybe "Silver Spoons" -- childhood favorites for a boy who wanted a father (and being rich would've been nice too).

my favorite tv show theme songs, in no real particular order:

Welcome Back Kotter
"your dreams were your ticket out.."

The Love Boat
"and love.. life's sweetest reward.."

The Beverly Hillbillies
"the kin folks said JED MOVE AWAY FROM THERE!"

Green Acres
"keep Manhattan just give me that countryside..!"

WKRP in Cincinnati
"town to town, up & down the dial"

The Jeffersons
"now we up in the big leagues"

Cheers
"wouldn't you like to get away?"

Family Ties
"and there ain't no lovin' we can't love each other through.."

plus, my favorite tv theme instrumentals:

Sanford & Son (junk-yard funky)
The Odd Couple (kinda jazzy)
Barney Miller (phat bass line)
Hawaii 5-0 (hip-shakin' & funky-groovy)
I Dream of Jeannie (bouncy & sexy)

I like enough the theme to the 60's Batman show, but I liked even more the background music..

I watched WAY TOO MUCH TV when I was a child...
I'll see you tonight..
in ALL MY DREAMS..
