What is your grocery store of choice?

I like Ralph's; they tend to be fairly upscale. Food 4 Less is like going to WalMart after sundown. eek

The Target in West Hollywood is pretty cool, tho. cool

Yes, this is a fairly boring thread, but it's one in which every orger should be able to participate!

I daydream about the Ralph's in Westwood. I've never been more impressed by a grocery store--such opulence!

what i hate about ralph's is that they are everywhere and the all have a different layout. so u can't walk into a different Ralph's and just find your stuff. arrrggghhh.

I don't if I've even seen a Safeway out here. Where is L.A. hiding 'em?

I always thought it was a grocery store back east. I have never heard of one here, and I am a native californian. I remember Miss Daisy went to the piggly wiggly in driving miss daisy.

lol My grandma goes to Piggy Wiggly since it's close to her home. She used to have me go there for her sometimes. I swear it would always have this funny smell. whofarted I do like their logo of the little pig.....reminds me of Porky.
For some reason, Piggy Wiggly is like a cult thing now.....I don't know how that came to be. lol

I don't really have a favorite. I switch stores based on who's having the best sales that week.

Von's is the SoCal Safeway. Go there and u'll find "Private Select" or whatever that Safeway brand is. Most of the L.A. ones are kinda small and dingy. I like em though cause purchases count for United miles! woot!

But none in walking distance to me.

I like Target....but not really for groceries. I just bought a bunch of flower & herb seeds for a $1 each. woot! Can't wait to see them bloom. Their grocery selection isn't the best.
