Lates Update: give me advice

So today I saw the guy that I kinda have a crush on and while he passed by me it looked like he was getting ready to wave at me, but me being stupid! (the semester is almost over!) so I blew him a small kiss. The guy looked surprised, stunned, and shocked.
So I quickly stopped him and said that I was just kidding and that I am sorry.
He's already had me in other classes so he knows I joke around and laugh a lot.
Well, he said it's was ok and nodded. I told my male friend about it and he thinks that now the guy is going to think that I am a hoe or that I blew the chances I had of that guy talking to me.
Double standards or what?
If it had been the other way around I am sure guys would high five each other and be like "Player!"
but if a chick does it then she's a hoe? confused
I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

Why did you tell him you were kidding? Life is too short for wasting time on taking back kisses! If you have nothing to lose and he has no GF, just ask him out! You took 1 step forward and 2 steps back with the "just kidding". At least if you ask him out and he says no...then you know and won't waste time wondering.

And you did not blow the chances you had with him. rolleyes if you were making out with another guy and then pulled the "oh I'm sorry" bit..then he might. I think your other male friend may like you and will say what he can to get you to stop flirting with the guy you like. Trust me, blowing kisses does not equal ho.

Next time you see this guy, you should tell him your feelings or simply ask him what he's doing on Friday night. If he hems and haws, cut to the chase (he could be EQUALLY AS NERVOUS) and say something like "you know on a date or something". Make it clear it's a date and not just 2 friends "hanging out". Cuz that's even MORE confusing.

So far your male friend has been giving you bad advice. He knocks everything you do when it comes to this dude.

Maybe your friend wants you.

I just kind of feel like this was a case of double standards maybe?
Thanks for the advice! smile

You wont bag him. You spend too much time worrying and not enough doing. Faint heart never won fair lady or guy in this case. I hope you prove me wrong.
