My home computer is dying and my TV is old - I'm thinking of using part of my tax rebate for a new desktop, and I'm wondering about getting a decent screen that could double as my TV - does anyone have experience with this and/or could point me towards somewhere to get information about this? I'm not looking to spend a fortune.

DO it. It is the next thing. My buddy has one and it's great! Though I have to say it is HD and pretty big. I looked at his computer for it and it's like the size of a Hard Drive. He uses it for TV, Music and DVD and surfing only. It is the next wave of where TV/Computers are going.
