Teenage angst .. hmmm i picture different types of films.

Ginger snaps (lol)

For some odd reason when i first saw this film i could relate to the beastiality of puberty (being a teenager) and all that it entails.

cool

Though not in the same class as H&M (what is?), I think Sixteen Candles is brilliant. Saturday Night Fever is great, too.

i thought donnie darko was a pretty primo teenage angst movie. you got your teenage angst, your existential angst and your paranormal angst all wrapped up in one clever story. shrug

The Doom Generation. Starts with Rose McGowan looking out into nothing (she's bored of the Goth/Punk club she's in) and says "Fuck!". It is the epitome of Gen Xer's

LOVE that! i overheard someone talking about this movie on saturday at yoga. hadn't thought of it in a long time. i can't hear the commodores' "oh no" and not think of it.

heartbreaking and a very real look at 80's teen life, at least thru my eyes it was.
