I freakin KNEW Lost would be crap, it's the kinda show that strings you along and gives you NO answers. The lack of plot is used as a tactic to keep you watching...nothing more.

It's about ratings and money, nothing to do with the show or offering a coherent story and plot line that developes with each episode.

Whereas Heroes is very different, each episode furthers the story, you have a typical comic book sytle of plot, a larger plot with a number of subplots.

You learn more about the characters and their abilities with each episode while furthering the overall "big picture" and the nuclear detonation in New York.

Evangeline Lilly and the other girls are just present for eye candy, dropping new characters in by plane is beyond silly.

Tim Kring has stated that several Heroes characters will get killed off this season with a second season having an entirely new plot set in different locations around the world...and a bigger per episode budget to "beef up" the CGI.

Heroes by a mile for exactly the reasons you stated.

Plus heroes has comedy and is far more watchable. Very entertaining.

It's based on a series of comics called The Specials.

The writer has done alot of Sci-Fi...he did Babylon 5 and others....damn, he wrote on Jayce and the wheeled warriors.
