The SPURS deserve metion with all those great teams of the 80's. On a personal note it just makes me feel good that a guy like Robert Horry who will have like 7 NBA championship rings before he hangs it up who has a severe speech problem is a man who is the first to do interviews. I love Big Shot Rob! The dude just is clutch. Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.

The ONLY way he gets 7 rings is that they have 2 win it NEXT year. That is NOT going 2 happen.

Your incorrect. Robert Horry won 2 titles with the Rockets, 3 with the Lakers, 1 with the Spurs 2+3+1 =6 if he wins it this year it will be his 7th. Look it up. Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.

I think hes a great player that carried an average team as far as it could go which is much more than we can say about Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, or Kobe Bryant. Oh but how I do hate that stupid "We are all witnesses" campaign that they are trying to brand Lebron with! Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.

These young'uns have no sense of NBA history. Larry was only a great shooter??? Oh please - I suppose his rebounding, passing & court sense don't count. Unbelievable. "Larry was great..one of the best...he dominated white guys and black guys" (Magic Johnson's quote on the Howard Stern Show. I think Magic would know more than any of us.) My Top Ten(doesn't include active players) 1) Wilt 1a) Russell 2) Jordan 3) Oscar 4) Baylor 5) Kareem 6) Magic 7) Bird 8) Hakeem 9) Moses 10) Dr.J [Edited 6/3/07 21:52pm] [Edited 6/3/07 21:53pm] That's cool you've got Hakeem in there. My second favourite of all-time after 'Nique. Not a top-10 great, but a brilliant scorer and easily THE best in-game dunker I've ever seen.

I am so glad that the finals are not getting big ratings. I am so sick of Stern trying to shove the next MJ down my throat. When will he realize that no matter how much hype he Gives Lebron He will never measure up to Jordan. Stop trying to promote that one superstar, thinking they will boost the league image/t.v. ratings it is not going to happen. Hey here's an ideal maybe if you promote the entire league instead of trying to promote Lebron or Wade, or whosever next, maybe that could help boost the nba. cuz last time i looked i thought the nba was a team sport not one on one basketball why in God's name do u wanna make me cry

I'm still mad at Detroit. If they played like they were supposed to, we could have had a classic 6 or 7 game Piston/Spurs series. Instead we get the worst Finals in NBA history. In 1981 Houston made the finals despite having a sub-.500 regular season record. But at least they took Bird's Celtics to six tough games. This was a friggin' joke.
Hat's off to the Spurs. Fans who say they're "boring" don't know sh!t about the game. San Antonio plays basketball the way it should be played - smart offense and tough, in-your-face defense.
