You know what's funny is that my skin didn't start getting overly sensitive until about a year ago. I've always had sensitive skin, but lately it seems to have gotten worse. Not sure why that is.

I understand where you're coming from, when I was a teenager, my skin was especially sensitive to alotof soaps, then I tried nutragena (sp?), and it seems to have worked the best, still use it when my face decides to pulls acnes stunts, but my body skin isn't too bad, sometimes if I switch detergents, or dryer sheets that can cause issues..I hope you find something that you like really well and that works for you as I know this can cause many a head aches. hug

hug Thanks for your words of encouragement. I forgot about Neutrogena, that stuff is pretty mild and should work well.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Dove is one of the few soaps I can use without my face getting a rash on it.

I end up having to put Neosporin or medicated vaseline (which is hard to find nowadays) on my face at night... I hate it.

Arrgghh, I feel ya. I usually put Benadryl cream on my face, and after a day or two, the red rashiness goes away.

That was a good idea to get a note from your doctor, so your bosses know what is going on.

I have to use special soap myself, actually, it's syndet (synthetic detergent), otherwise my entire skin will itch beyond belief.

I have the most finiky skin ever...I see a doctor for it and she just recently refilled my scrips for my skin meds. I have always had bad acne and scaring. She says to use the one make up your skin likes and never change, she give me a infection treating medication called Doxycycline which is commonly used to treat acne. Along with this she gives me a cream to use on my face in the am and pm callederythromycin and benzoyl proxide topical gel compound. When my skin breaks out these combinations stp it in its tracks. Also another thing she has me do for the scaring is to crush up the soluable vitamin E tables and apply it to the scared area which makes it fade faster then something like mederma. As for face was stick with what your skin likes and never change. If you are havng skin problems I would recommend seeing your doctor. I know what it is like to have bad skin and acne and its not the best thing in the world but there are things out there to help.
