No shame in my game (although ten years ago I would never have admitted to liking either of these ):
The lyrics to this one are pure, sappy crap, but the hooks are undeniable. Co-written by Gregg Alexander: http://youtube.com/watch?v=D36E-7BjOLQ Some more tightly constructed pop (and the one on the bed is The Sex ): http://youtube.com/watch?v=OYqWCkTqPNM

i am way, way, way in love with "music and lyrics" the drew barrymore and hugh grant movie and the soundtrack. love, love, love the music!!!
Way back into love (Music and Lyrics) I've been living with a shadow overhead I've been sleeping with a cloud above my bed I've been lonely for so long Trapped in the past, I just can't seem to move on I've been hiding all my hopes and dreams away Just in case I ever need em again someday I've been setting aside time To clear a little space in the corners of my mind All I want to do is find a way back into love I can't make it through without a way back into love Oh oh oh I've been watching but the stars refuse to shine I've been searching but I just don't see the signs I know that it's out there There's got to be something for my soul somewhere I've been looking for someone to shed some light Not just somebody just to get me through the night I could use some direction And I'm open to your suggestions All I want to do is find a way back into love I can't make it through without a way back into love And if I open my heart again I guess I'm hoping you'll be there for me in the end There are moments when I don't know if it's real Or if anybody feels the way I feel I need inspiration Not just another negotiation All I want to do is find a way back into love I can't make it through without a way back into love And if I open my heart to you I'm hoping you'll show me what to do And if you help me to start again You know that I'll be there for you in the end http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista

Magenta feelings take up shelter in the base of my spine Sweet like a drink of cherry cola indeed! Oh, don't even get me started on that song! It was all pleasure, no guilt when I was 14 years old. I was obsessed with it! I taped the music video off of tv, and watched several times a day. I was insanely in love with Darren Hayes, and this song was just too sexy! Wanna hear me sing? www.ChampagneHoneybee.com

My guilty pleasure song is "Oh Sheila" by Ready for the World. It does things to me! It's dangerous to listen to it while driving because I don't focus on the road. Wanna hear me sing? www.ChampagneHoneybee.com

i went because the movie i wanted to see was sold out, and ended up loving it. i have crushes on both of them, but am usually disappointed. this one was a pleasant, cute cheesy surprise! http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista

i have a TV guilty pleasure. do those count?
sometimes i LOVE watching 'seventh heaven'. it's mostly for making fun of the grinch-faced mom and jessica "baby butch" biel, but there's something strangely soothing about the leadfooted moral ponderings on that show...it's kinda like on a rainy weekend when i buy a big tub of cozy shack tapiocca pudding and eat it all in one sitting. i'm not at all happy about what i've done, but it was somehow what i needed.

I don't know if it's a guilty pleasure but usually if I like a British artist, the British hate them.
I'm listening to lots of AMY WINEHOUSE. I know she's been around a while but I finally got around to listening to her. She says Charles Ingalls was an activist. (He sort of was, I guess )
