Well here's the update...

They let go 16 techers so far, and as of yet I am safe. They have until May 15 to lay us off so please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

In other news, my kids were so freaking bad today that I feel like I'm going to punch a hole in the wall.

I went through this twice in the last 6 months.

The first time they cut 15% percent of the staff (in November of 2006).
The second time was just in January when they cut 40% of the staff.


The first time I knew I wouldn't be cut becuase I scored the highest ranking, and they were only cutting the 15% lowest rankings (we rate on a bell curve here).

The second time I was nervous becuase they cut numbers strictly to cut staff with no coorelation to your talents. I sweated that one
