Totally agreed...so many great women....

Molly Shannon has a new movie 'Year of the Dog' that's getting some great reviews...it looks really good...she deserves it...she was one of the funniest along with Cheri O Teri and Ana Gasteyer....one of the great SNL teams ever...

Cheri O Teri's 'SNL best of' DVD is the one thing I can count on when I'm down to lift my spirits and laugh my ass off....when she and Will Ferrell do that 'Good Morning' Talk show and she does her best Kathie Lee...it just kills me...she and Will Ferrell had increible chemestry.

..

some of the greatest women of snl:
gilda
jane curtain
jan hooks
nora dunn
molly shannon
cheri oteri
anna gasteyer
tina fey
amy poehler

Gilda was the greatest of them all.

Note to self - Gilda 'Stretch Marks' skit...possibly the funniest ever!

RIP Gilda!!!

I can't remember the name of the character or who played him, but back in the mid 80's there was a swami type character who spoke with an East Indian accent.

He once said when he first came to America, immigration asked him to describe his mother's tongue(language), and he told them it was pink and around 13 inches long.

He also asked if anyone remembered Gloria Gaynor who sang "I've got all my life to live, I've got all my love to give, I will survive, I will survive".....What ever happened to her?

And of course there was the episode where they had Stevie Wonder taking pictures of a tennis match.

The Chris Farley skit with Paul McCartney. Hilarious! And I love the one with Patrick Swayze too.

Anything with Chris Rock and John Belushi!!

Some of the Mike Myers skits were hilarious too.

Tons of fun stuff on that show over the years.
