LOL, yeah the Martin/Ackroyd skit - "Hey - don't put your tongue on it!" I still say the "I don't know what it is, but take my picture with it" line, too.

The Happy Fun Ball commercial - "Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball". LOL.

Jimmy Fallon interviewing Paris Hilton on "Weekend Update" right afterher porn tape hit the 'net - "I heard the Paris Hilton has a back door entrance. Is that true and if so, may I use it?"

"Sabra Price is Right" with Tom Hanks.

The commercial about coin slots. LMAO, I hadn't ever heard that term before. Now, I can't stop using it.

Phil Hartman as the Cave Man Lawyer.

Darrell Hammond as President Clinton, back when Clinton was president. Wow, did he capture Clinton perfectly.

Dana Carvey as President George H. W. Bush - ditto.

The skit where the cast members were auditioning to be, I think, President Clinton (after Phil Hartman left?). Everyone was giving their best, then it was Tim Meadows' turn. He got about three lines into it and then said, "I don't have a shot, do I?"

When Tim Meadows played O. J. Simpson and drew out a football play on a TeleStrater. The lines he drew spelled out "I did it".

LOL, it's great thinking back on all that comedy. Thanks for the thread!

jan hooks is a perfect eaample of the weird sexist curse that is snl. the guys go on to big time including the marginally talented ones (rob schneider, chevy chase), while the women who are often some of the best talent to come off the show rarely end up doing anything. i am still in shock that tina fey is doing well.

I like the old stuff with John Belushi, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray, Jane Curtin, Dan Akyroyd

"The Nerds and The Norge" is unforgettable to me and I laugh hysterically at it every single time I watch it....

Totally agreed...so many great women....

Molly Shannon has a new movie 'Year of the Dog' that's getting some great reviews...it looks really good...she deserves it...she was one of the funniest along with Cheri O Teri and Ana Gasteyer....one of the great SNL teams ever...

Cheri O Teri's 'SNL best of' DVD is the one thing I can count on when I'm down to lift my spirits and laugh my ass off....when she and Will Ferrell do that 'Good Morning' Talk show and she does her best Kathie Lee...it just kills me...she and Will Ferrell had increible chemestry.
