okay, seriously... someone turn off the rain in nyc, please. i built an ark, just in case.
and by "built an ark" i mean i ripped the tub out from the wall and made matching pirate hats and eyepatches for me and sally, the daschund.

okay, i laughed and mocked the flood warnings this morning. i just looked out my living room window, which overlooks the alleyway of my building (i am ground floor, alley is a floor below ground), and the water is about 4-5 inches deep.

come to california! you'll be safe here! i am way more scared of earthquakes. cali was purdy though. sf was so sunny the days i was there for the invasion, no fog at all. totally clear. i actually got a little sunburnt, and all the cali orgers laughed at me for it. At around 7:30 I drove down the street to get some Chinese food, and the flooding was so bad that I was scared my car would start floating away!
