Tonsilittis blows

my tonsils are always swollen, but when they get infected, they literally touch each other. That's what I woke up to today along with a 102 fever.

sigh

I hate being sick. I'd love to get them taken out, but I don't have the 1000 bucks hanging around for the operation.

yeah, they say it is MORE risky than as a child, but not life threatening. At this point, I'm so sick of them, I don't care, I want them out. They hinder my breathing, assist my snoring, and my adnoids are big too. It totally sucks.

I got very sick from recurring Tonsillitis too- they took mine out at 19 while they were infected because nothing was clearing up the infection and they were afraid it would just get worse.
Do not let it go too long Chris hug

Must've been an antibiotic. If you have strep, the bacteria can cause septicemia and affect other organs, including your heart, and cause permenant damage to the myocardium. With strep, a classic sign is "white patches" on the tonsils and needs immediate treatment.
Can you get employment where you have insurance benefits, or pay for a policy to cover surgery? Does your employer offer insurance as a group policy? Can you marry someone who has insurance and cover you?
Is there anyone here who will marry jerseykrs, at least until he can get his tonsils out? (You'll sign a pre-nup, right. Throw that in.)

Those tonsils have got to go.....
