So what do you take on your...

...hot dog?

Hot (well maybe warm) on the heels of Anx's Potato thread, i'm thinking "Where's the beef?".

As for me, Dirty Harry will tell you what I DON'T take...

...Nobody - I mean nobody puts ketchup on a hot dog!

ok, on hotdogs I put chilli if we make it. But usualy onions that are grilled and jalapenos.
I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

With butter, pepper, salt, and shredded cheese drool I hate how Waffle House does their cheese grits. They use sliced American cheese.....eww. My favorite is salmon patties and cheese grits. Oh god, that is so Southern. lol

well, i don't eat hot dogs per se, though sometimes i'll have tofu pups or boca bratwursts or faux italian sausage.

and i'll fess up - i must have LOTS of ketchup on hot dogs. in fact, my only really big draw for eating hot dogs is to have an excuse to drown something in ketchup. redface

Well out here in San Fran, one cannot get one that isn't grilled! mad Well very very few places do it like Chicago, which is mustard, onions, relish, tomatoes, pickle and celery salt on a poppy seed bun!

I never use ketchup on hot dogs, but when I was little my grandma used to fix us hot links and we'd put ketchup on those. We'd use regular sandwich bread instead of buns for those. lol

That's wrong. The proper condiment for hot dogs is mustard. Everyone knows that.

But since your dogs aren't real anyway, I guess it's okay. smile

My family is West Indian and they eat their hot dogs with ketchup also--so backwards. Like eating fries with mayonnaise. disbelief

On my hot dogs I like ketchup, mustard, onions and relish, I especially like the hotdogs at Costco, yummy. And as far as fries goes I love the ones In N Out sells, you know their animal style fries with their special sauce, grilled onions and cheese, they are so good
