I've been known to go Irish batshit on many occasions.
For instance, I'm getting up early the next day for work, the kids don't have school, have friends over, the music is too loud, kids are in the front yard, car doors slamming, I'm in bed, etc, etc, and after multiple warnings to keep it down, explaining I need to get up early..... I start yelling...."GET OUT! NOW! Everyone needs to get the hell out of here! " Like THEIR parents put up with that? NO! That's why they're at my house.
Now the children are older and dispersed and no more wild parties. What really pissed me off: those rowdy guests who treated me as though I were out of line for yelling.....because their parents don't .
Keep in mind, we have a big house and .6 acre.

But sometimes, just sometimes, I also would like to throw them in front of that same moving vehicle with a similar level of passion. pissed

This is why I'm not having kids. I'm pretty sure I would kill them all off in between worrying about them. For real.

That being said, sometimes, I literally CAN NOT STAND THEM. My son does things that basically scream "Please father, beat me?"

disbelief

Anyone else ever feel like this?

Maybe he's trying to get more attention, even if it's negative?
The nice thing about activities with kids like, fishing, camping, etc. you're there to have fun. You still have to make sure they're safe, but it takes you away from the usual home environment and rules. Your children are still young.
I can guarantee, when they hit 16, they'll be too busy to do stuff like that. (driving, girlfriends, friends)

So I'm talking to my wife on the phone last night and she's upset because my son lost his damned mind....got into a tiff with his sister over the phone and started SCREAMING and YELLING at the top of his lungs, in front of an open window overlooking our neighborhood (we live on a military base, so the neighbors are quick to call the MPs)...when my wife went to correct him, he, being the soon to be 16 year old that he is, decided the best course of action was to completely disrespect his mother....he yelled at her and did that stupid little sneer thing that all the Grillz'd up rappers do....it was all that she could do not to kill him....and when she told me, I wanted to jump thru the phone and beat him to a bloody pulp.....

I agree with Bill Cosby on this one....I love both of my kids to death, but they are hopelessly brain damaged....so I don't feel too badly when they make me want to end their visit on Earth.....nod
