Any Joss Whedon show:

Angel
Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Firefly

But I was already grown up when they were first on the air. I am old. neutral

Others I liked that ended too soon:

American Gothic
Arrested Development
Blade
Kindred: The Embraced

did you ever watch Battlestar Galactica original series?

I watched the original Battlestar Galactica a few times, but it didn't make that much of an impression--kind of like the old Buck Rogers TV series.

I'm not sure if I actually miss any tv shows, but I guess I could pick a few.

I miss Seinfeld (great writing, pure genius)
All in the Family (same as above)
Knots Landing (loved the show in the 80's)

I will definitely miss the Sopranos when it ends. My favourite drama of all time.

i remember both bob newhart shows. i preferred the 80s one, but i preferred suzanne pleshette to mary frann because i loved suzanne's smoker's voice. lol

i wouldn't watch northern exposure because i thought it was a twin peaks wannabe show. redface

I liked the earlier "Bob" because a) there was a drinking game for it and b) because I liked George better when he was "The Peeper." lol

you should be beaten senseless if you, as comedy genius, don't know what show that is.

I watched Northern Exposure for a few seasons. I had a crush on Janine Turner. She was hot.

Twin peaks aired when I was in college and we couldn't get ABC in the dorms so I never saw it. sad

that show is almost impossible to watch out of order or without having seen the prior episodes. it's one of the few sitcoms that not only had through stroy lines, but also masterfully built long running though never over-worked subtle running gags in.

and the meta-gags are genius and subtle.

you should really give it another shot on netflix. i am a comedy snob, and i think it is one of the best sitcoms ever. smaaaaart show, so naturally it was bound to be cancelled.

When you think about the entire series, what happened in the finale was inevitable. Any other way and I would have questioned Michael Bluth's sanity. I hope I didn't spoil too much there.
