What about personality, charisma, charm, kindness etc etc etc.. the list goes on.. if you feel you have to be drop dead gorgeous and slim then you better be posting on the shallow women thread you do realise you have just cussed out all plain/fat women here? get a grip girl..start accepting you for you.. THATS what keeps a man interested.. not how you look but how you feel abouit youself and how you portray yourself.. you have clearly been reading too many magazines, watching too much tv.. look at yourself, accept how you are.. if no man wants you for yourself then he isnt worth having anyway remember that.. you are beautiful as you are! Very well stated, Red. You said it better than I ever could. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

You need to get some self esteem and stop worryingt about what you look like That sounds nice but plain/fat people have to work harder to get ahead in life and keep men. So I have to be worried. Honey, when I wanted men around me, my fat ass had two or three at a time. I left them all, but. . . that was my choice. Work on being an interesting person if you want to "keep" an interesting man. oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

Just be willing to do the work, or accept the way you look now. and post pix already I don't have a recent picture. But I'm stuck w/ a 29 inch waist( it used to be 27 inches when I was 18 ) I'd love to get it down to 28 inches. As for my face I'm stuck w/ glasses and I look like a busted up Bettie Page and my hair has a mind of it's own. [Edited 4/16/07 7:45am] If it doesn't fit, it's ugly anyway.

Keep your chin up! I know what it's like to feel inadequate and it sucks.... I didn't read any of the others' posts because I just wanted to speak to you. Any how, dedication is the key...it sounds like you have had some success. Doesn't it feel great?!!! Thrive on that! Progress is always slow but it does pay off. My biggest thing was to keep an eating journal down to every damn bite, it really helps you realize, "shit! I ate 3000 calories in chips alone today!" it motivates you to do other wise. Don't resort to any unhealthy or quick methods. You can do it and totally kick ass!
