There's nothing worse than going to someone's house (especially an overnight stay) when they're bathroom setup ain't right disbelief

Have extra tissue around, have guest towels out - it's the only decent thing to do!

OH, running out of TP and not being able to find another roll is THE WORST.

Which is why my hall closet looks like a store - I go on Target RAIDS lol I can't run out of shit like that, it's just too inconvenient. Extras, extras, extras!

Sometimes after a really hot shower or bath, it's a good way to cool off. biggrin

plus if it's a really hot summer night and you're going to sleep, naked + cool sheets = cloud9

I do sleep naked at times...

How about this? Is this nasty? We don't have a shower as such, but rather a tap, a big container of water and a small bucket/bowl which we throw water over ourselves with. Just a whole shower room really since the water goes everywhere. And we have a toilet. Mon and I often shower together and it doesn't seem worth the effort to leave just because the other is going to toilet. hmmm

nod Or when there is no soap in the bathroom. I've had that happen to me several times. I've had to nicely ask the host/hostess where the soap was so I could shower (when staying overnight at someone's house). eek confused I've learned to bring my own soap, so that's no longer an issue.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

if it were a hot shower and the whole bathroom were all steamed up, i'd say yeah. steamy bathroom and poopytime aren't really good partners. but since you guys are just doing little baptismish bathie things, i don't see how it would be so gross.

lol we donmt really lock the bathroom door at my parents either.. unless my Dad is around then nod yes we do..

but I walked in on my Mum today, sat on the loo, my Dad sat in the wicker chair having a conversation with her..

or my mum could be in the bath, another on the loo, and someone else sat in the chair, all having a conversation

But if its a number two, then the door gets locked and its done in privacy.. nod unless there is nobody else in the house, or they are downstairs..

Likewise, my Mum doesnt close the door when she goes to the loo. Ive made more of a fuss about this in recent years.

I always close the door just because and I use that Frebreze spray afterwards. Before they invented that spray I would just light a candle or do nothing.

Both of my parents would use those obnoxious strong orange smelling sprays that were more nauseating to smell than the dump itself. I hate those things, they make me want to vomit.

But Frebeze is quite nice and makes the smell disappear.

Yanno what's funny is how when somebody comes out of the bathroom surrounded in a cloud of stanky air freshener, you KNOW they just dropped a bomb, when otherwise it wouldn't have even crossed your mind. lol
