A Jersey breakfast dog.....deep fried, wrapped in bacon, with cheese, and a fried egg. My arteries will clog just by looking at that.

I prefer a steamed hot dog with "skin" (casing), topped with white cheddar cheese, and served in a New England-style top-split hot dog bun with no "crust" on the side.

White cheddar is available out here (Seattle), but I've never seen New England-style hot dog rolls outside of, well, New England. What's up with that?

I love, love, love a Chicago-style dog. But there's a deli here that also makes a very good one with onions, tomatoes, and melted cheese on a poppyseed bun.

And I love a dog with sauerkraut and ketchup cuz it reminds me of my childhood. The little town my grandparents lived in had an annual "Wiener and Kraut Day" in September.

My grandpa worked for Oscar Mayer, so we had hot dogs a lot.
