If you enjoy web browsing, I wouldn't pick it up. Vista didn't like most of the websites I go to.

Rhondab

I just bought a new puter....with Vista.

so far, its aight.

I've yet to see why ppl are complaining about it so much. I think XP was easier to locate files.

I'm not a computer geek so I don't know if something is awful or not.

I think its just interesting how they've copied other programs. We used to use AOL's brower. They completely made Internet Explorer just like that browser.

Vista is better than XP by a mile.

In all fairness, it totally didn't merit 5-6 years development, but it is significantly better than XP.

Don't make the mistake lots of people are making and go "Oh, Ultimate's the best one, I'll buy that." Without taking note that it may be the best, but it also requires the best specs to run.

yes agreed, apart from the ram you also need a powerful graphics card.

Not really.

Whilst Vista can run on 1GB, for optimum performance you ideally need 2gb of RAM which is basically standard in all mid-end PCs you can buy today, so that's no concern.

As for graphics card, Vista's new 3D interface can run on 64mb cards (see vista on macbooks) but you probably want 128mb - most cards these days in the low-end range are 128mb.
