Do you get car/sea/air sick? I used to get car sick, very badly and used to take those travel sickness pills. But as I got older it doesn't happen so much. I still cant read anything in a car, I start getting seriously nauseous.
you? | |

I'm DEATHLY with the motion sickness. Can't even ride in limos backwards. No more cruise ships for me, either. I can drive about five hours in a car and then that's it for me (that gets me to either Chicago or Cleveland from Detroit--even had to stop driving to Minneapolis). Dramamine doesn't work for me--just gets me high, but doesn't stop the sick feeling.

Nope, never these days, and I think that has a lot to do with the fact that I was more or less raised on a boat. We used to sail in the archipelago every summer when I was a kid, and we also used to drive to Norway at least twice a year, so I'm convinced that you can get used to certain types of motion.

Candied ginger works wonders for lots of people.

Yeah, I've never actually gotten sick, but I feel bad. I can't read or sleep in a car. I'm okay on a boat, but only a small one. If it's big the gradual rocking makes me nuts.
I will NEVER take a cruise, it sounds like pure torture My Legacy

Pickled radishes, even though they sound totally gross, are indescribably delicious in a falafel wrap with some good tahini and cucumbers. But usually they use those gross supermarket tomatoes that are, like, crunchy and pink. That part sucks. The Normal Whores Club

you? Yep, it has to do with my allergies though, it gets worse when I'm all blogged up by the allergy. Or when I have a cold. I have never been able to do anything in the car but look outside. Even fastening my seetbelt while leaving the carpark will get me nauseous.

Well I might be a bit exaggerating but, I do feel queasy looking down in a car that's turning a corner. And I'm hardly ever in a car, I might not be used to driving
