i'm inclined to agree, though if that's all you've got and you have a little pepper or butter, you could salvage it. still...stupid wendy's!

Ideally... bacon, cheese, sour cream, chives, and lots of pepper.

I normally settle for butter and pepper though.

Whatever I happen to have that actually tastes good on a potato. Preferably lots of butter, if I have it, I love cheese all over it (melted). I like tons of seasoning on it...sour cream's good but usually I don't have it around. I've also tried hot sauce on a baked potato. Once, when I was really bored with what there was to eat. It was oddly good. hmmm

I've always used Ranch dressing on mine.....with butter and salt. I'll use sour cream if I don't have ranch though. Occasionally I'll order one with ranch, cheese, and bacon bits. I use butter and brown sugar in my baked sweet potatoes.

I'm trying to figure out what kind of a baked potato person I am. I usually just go with butter and/or sour cream, but I feel it's time to branch out.

What do you put on your baked potato? Tell me. I want to know. DO IT

The great thing about potatoes is you can do just about anything with them! smile
My general preference is to put some salt and herbs on them; rosemary I like, or Italian herbs and mix them with some vegetables. Sour cream is nice to make it a little creamy. Ultimately, it all depends on how you prepare them! smile

I like a nice big Idaho russet potatoe, twice baked. Slather olive oil on the outside, poke it with a fork, salt with course sea salt and bake at 400 degrees till done. Slice off a thin part of the top, scoop out potatoe with a melon ball scoop. Mash it up with butter, cream, chives, grated sharp cheddar, salt, pepper. Put a little more cheese on top, bake until cheese melted and Voila! Nothing more, nothing less.

first u bake the potato
then you put it in the fridge until u wanna eat it
get it out when its time
cut it open vertically through the center all along the potato
heat in microwave for 30 seconds
unleash potato
apply sour cream
add quite a butt-load of shredded cheddar cheese
microwave for 30 more seconds
summon potato
look at it
add bacon bits
look at it some more
get a fork
its now time to feast like the king u are
life is but a dream...
