My mother used to make them quickly by poking holes in it with a fork, microwaving for a short time, then wrapping them in tin foil when they came out. They seriously continued cooking for several minutes after. whoa, that's clever!

i change it up, it really depends on how i'm feeling that day.
sometimes: butter, bacon bits, salt, pepper sometimes: sour cream, chives, pepper sometimes: butter, butter, butter, salt, pepper sometimes: cheese, broccoli, bacon or any various combination of the above, or anything else i might fancy at the moment. depending on what you top the tater with, it could be a meal in itself!

It depends on where I eat them. There was this English man about a decade ago when I was still a student and he would give you only four or five options, he kept it quite simple but he made the best tasting baked potatoes I´ve ever eaten in my whole life. He would come to the campus with an old fashioned original English coal oven that he bought in England.
You could choose toppings such as aioli, sour cream, and I think two other sauces. Butter and cheese were usually included , unless you didn´t want that. I often ate them with just butter and cheese, sprinkled with a bit of chives and parsley, or with cheese and aioli. Germans eat them quite simple, with a bit of kräuterquark ( tastes a bit like sour cream with herbs). The Turkish version is called kumpir and you can choose between tons of toppings such as sliced sausages, baked beans, chili , mushrooms, aioli, haydari, mayonnaise, Russian salad, sucuk, cheese, and so on but I always eat the simple butter and cheese version. I love baked potatoes but they take too long to bake in the oven and don´t taste that great when you just put them in the micro. The best thing is to put them on coal, wrapped in aluminum foil. Best taste ever ! " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

I like lots of butter, sea salt and black pepper.
Or lots of butter, broccoli and cheddar cheese. Or lots of butter and sauteed mushrooms, peppers and onions Try it! And you can throw some cheese on top of that too, of course. But don't forget the butter. The Normal Whores Club
