do you like your first name?..would you rather another..? I would choose Jesse as my first name. I love my name as it is a societal oximoron as to what I actually look like! Imagine yourself as an interviewer and you see Darin H. Poindexter as your next interviewee...then a six foot seven, 275lb BLACK MAN walks through your door! And Xavier is considered a boy name because it IS a boy name.
How about Xaviera? *1 - (Javiera is a real name, not usual though) *2 - (The X is because in old Spanish J was X. So in modern Spain we say Mejico, Tejas...)

Ra.
That was the name my father originally wanted. That is the name of the Egyptian Sun God and that name is perfect because my last name is crown in spanish and the Sun has a Corona. Plus it's unique, just like me 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

For real? That's my name and I don't like it. My middle name is Anne. I have a choice between Valley Girl and regal woman. I'm neither. My aunt always calls me by both too. Reminds me too much of Raggedy Ann how she says it. My mom said she thought about Lorraine too as a second choice. I guess Tiffany is better than Lorraine. Well I could've gone by Rainne.....that would've been extremely cool. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

When I was in junior high I hated my name. I tried briefly to get the teachers to call me by my middle name but then I would forget to answer when they did. So that lasted about one day. do you like your first name?..would you rather another..?
Now I don't mind my first name (Joni), it's uncommon without being weird. But I hate when it's misspelled J-O-A-N-I-E or when people call me Joan. Jone is okay--hence my user name, but Joan is an old lady's name. (And I can hear the difference.) I kinda wish it was spelled Jonie but not enough to start spelling it that way. I was supposed to be named Tricia, but someone else in my small town had a girl & named her Tricia so my parents chose Joni. My last name starts with a T, so I'm glad I wasn't a Tricia, because I'm not a fan of alliterated names. My brother was supposed to be Matthew, but the same thing happened with another family naming their son that, so he got Darren instead. I think we both ended up better off. The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.
