yes agreed, apart from the ram you also need a powerful graphics card.

Not really.

Whilst Vista can run on 1GB, for optimum performance you ideally need 2gb of RAM which is basically standard in all mid-end PCs you can buy today, so that's no concern.

As for graphics card, Vista's new 3D interface can run on 64mb cards (see vista on macbooks) but you probably want 128mb - most cards these days in the low-end range are 128mb.

oh okay, i thought it needed something like 256mb graphics card minimum..

that's cool
are you ready for submission

I loved Vista before Seattle! It's just fashionable to bash it - it's amazing, and the fastest-selling Windows ever, so it can't be THAT bad!

I bought it the first day, so I didn't start bashing to fit in. It is NOT amazing, btw.

Ok, it's not amazing, but it's far better than XP.

What edition did you buy? What are your PC specs?

Cool! So you actually shaped the metal casing and formed the plastic for the monitor? Or you mean you bought the parts and put them in their clearly marked pre-designated slots? smile

If you think it's that easy, try it yourself.
