The insurance co. had in writing, foot devices not covered. I paid the bill. I wrote them a letter and sent a copy to my employer. I stated: the alternative treatment is surgery, in which case I'll be off work for a month recovering. I was reimbursed for half of it.

There's not much worse than a throat infection. Throats are awfully important and useful.

I had it bad 5 times in one year... the doctor wouldn't take them out, but since then it hasn't come back ((knock on wood)).

I had ONE tonsil taken out when I was about 5.

When the surgery was taking place I started coughing so hard that the doctor got real scared and he ended the operation right then without taking out the second one.
