Damn, I sure hope not. These days it's not just the flashbacks that slow down the unfolding of the plot, it's whole episodes that seem to be completely unnecessary and taken out of context (like that Tales From The Crypt one about the diamond smugglers). I want to see what's going on with Locke!

It's not fine with me. I'd be really annoyed if they didn't at least do a half-assed effort. Just leaving certain loose ends completely would be a MAJOR let-down and really destroy the show's whole legacy.

Some things they seem to have already forgotten:

Libby was in the same asylum as Hurley. Why?

The Black Rock way up on land. How?

The boat Michael left in was supposed to "only be able to handle short distances".
