Top Law Student's Naked Stunt Backfires

I think she's cute, but my friends from other sites disagree.

For someone so booksmart, she didn't have much common sense when doing the video.

"I didn't think it would become so widespread."

Girl, this is 2007! If you film yourself doing ANYTHING, it will end up all over the net, be ridiculed on various blogs, and most certainly will not go away. People really need to think before doing filming themselves doing anything that might come back to haunt them.

She's definitely not ugly. She's cute in a girl-next-door kinda way.

I agree she was naive in thinking the video wouldn't be passed around at some point in the future, but it wouldn't affect my decision to hire her. So she posed nekkid. What's the big deal?

Why would this keep her from getting a job? That's ludicrous.

That's the thing that pisses me off about this. If it were a guy, do you think he'd be having this problem? Would it even have made the news?

No one wants to see guys nekkid. That's not hot.

Women on the other hand are supposed to be covered at all times because their naughty bits are more valuable.

Sure, it shouldn't matter when getting a job, but unfortunately, it does. Considering the career she is shooting for, this was not a wise move. She said in the article that "lawyers can be kind of boring." Well, maybe that's because they are professionals, and want to be seen that way. If employers don't see her as professional, they may not want to hire her and have her representing them.

Her nickname around campus is Porn Star. I think that shows what her fellow law students think of her.

I'd sooner hire someone that posed nekkid than say someone that got arrested for cocaine possession. And you can become president if you did the latter.

I can see the cocaine user thing, but why wouldn't you want someone who posed naked as your attorney?

Nudity doesn't bother me. I used to take nude figure drawing classes, and the models (well, most of them anyway) were very classy and tasteful. Now, purposefully posing in a pornographic video as one last hurrah before becoming a lawyer? I see that as immature and in poor taste.

She's my age, and if she were one of my friends, I would have tried to talk her out of doing it.
