He's staying with his grandmother... she knows and she's okay with it. At least I know he's okay

Why did he leave his mother's place and go back to his father's? Did she kick him out also? He definitely shouldn't go back to his father's. How can a father do that to his son.

All I can say is, our family has had an open door policy when it comes to kids' friends living here. Through out the years, we've had several kids stay, (who've been kicked out at home) until they got situated. They ended doing OK. We have a big house, plenty of food, and they were good kids having a tough time.

Jesus....
I know a few people in similar situations. It's never a good scene. I hope this kid gets the help and support he needs. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

I really wish him the best. You and I are lucky. I had the most wonderful coming out. My parents were kind of conflicted about it but one thing they did say was "What, do you think we'd throw you out?" I told them "Yeah, I did."
I'm so glad to hear he's safe. It's so rough out there on the street, especially at 14. Most of the acquaintances I made throughout my teen years that were thrown out had really awful times. Some abused drugs, some moved every month from house to house. M MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop! I have the feeling that maybe she already knew

i never understood how some parents could just castaway their own children. whats even sadder is that this situation is not uncommon, things like this hurt my heart but i'm glad he's okay
