BAD KIDS SHOWS - ages 1-3...

ok- this has been on my MIND ALL WEEK ... cus my 2 yr old is wakin me up early - like 6 ... and i have to watch this crap !!!

1 Teletubbies

2 BOOBAH

ok. for those of you NOT in the loop. I do believe both of these were created by British Drug experts. The creators HAD to be HIGH . Period. I lump these 2 together because to adults - they are borderline UNWATCHABLE unless you have a fully packed BOWL ... serious. try it without . then u will see what i mean ...

3. Wiggles . What is it ? cant the US invent fucked up children's shows??? They really changed this show since i watched it a few years ago... with the lead singer gone ... they have kids dressed as the WIGGLES and Capt feathersword has gone from being like a VANITY charactor to being main actor !!!! what the _____ .... it always sucked- but now it really bites ....

4 Mickey Mouse Clubhouse - ok . score one for the US .... they completely RIP OFF DORA THE EXPLORER .... ugh ... and what is up with the computer generated crap ???? when they dance - it is oh my baddddd.... isnt WALT DISNEY "inventor " of innovative cartoons/movies, etc !!??

thoughts??? confused neutral

Ok, BOOBAH is the worst show ever.

It's supposed to appeal to infants but my son had zero interest in it, like none at all.

WONDER PETS!!

we're wonder pets,
we're wonder pets,
we're on our way,
to help the baby animal
and save the day.
we're not too big
and we're not too tough
but when we work together
we've got the right stuff.
what's gonna work?
teamwork!
what's gonna work?
teamwork!

lol

i've never seen a whole episode of teletubbies, boohbah, or wiggles. i swear i've seen EVERY episode of spongebob, jimmy neutron, fairly odd parents, dora the explorer, and go diego go, plus a few backyardigans and wonder pets.

most of those are for kids a little bit older, so they're actually pretty entertaining. as for the younger shows..... i actually like the Backyardigans and the Wonder Pets. boxed

If you have to be there anyways,
Why don't you turn the TV off and play with YOUR kid?

Just a suggestion shrug

As obnoxious as Teletubbies are to adults, I can totally understand why little children love them. I sat though several episodes when I babysat in high school, and the kids were completely engrossed in this show. The characters repeat almost everything, so the kids get a chance to play along too. They also include videos of real children doing all kinds of activities, which inspired the kids I was babysitting to do their own projects. Not to mention, the language is very basic, almost babytalk, so even the youngest kid I babysat could repeat what they were saying. I don't know, it might not be as stimulating and educational as some shows, but if kids like it, it's going to make money.

The shows I DON'T like are the really gross, poorly drawn ones that are popping up all over the place. Not appropriate for young kids, imo.

i LOVE watching toddlers throw tantrums, especially if they're being extra melodramatic and petty. watching drama queens in training is the cutest thing ever!
