My last kitty taught herself to play fetch by herself when I was too busy to play. She'd bring the ball to the couch, drop it on the back, then bat it off and chase it. Then she'd carry it back up to the back of the couch and start over again.

Aww I have mixed feelings about this thread. I finally returned my cat this weekend but feel as though I should have stuck it out and kept the booger. Yeah they're weird and make you feel like a prisoner in your home, but, that's part of their charm. The 15mins of cuddling time I got a day almost overshadowed all the pain in the ass things he'd done before.
I thought I'd handle it well and feel relieved but instead I sobbed my whole drive back home.

Cat person here...

My Fred is 18 years old so naturally he sleeps a whole lot, mostly in my son's room or the bathtub.

The biggest problem I had with him lately was those nasty hairballs so I changed his food and that helped.

Anybody know some good hairball remedies?

don't think I can stand those hairballs. My mom would never ever let me have a cat or dog. One time someone let a cat in my building. It was sooo cute. It came right to me and started purring and rubbing my leg with it's body. I felt so bad for it and then I went inside my apartment and closed my door slowly and it stuck it's paw in the door trying to get in... I was soooo sad.

I have a few questions about cats myself

Why do they like to lick me after I put on moisturizer? That stuff is also known as poison. I mean, really.

Why do they lay on top of anything I happen to be reading or working on? They love to lay on paper, and ironically enough it's always, always the paper I need then.

Why do they gorge themselves and then go barf, then go eat again? If you ate too much and barfed it up, it's not real smart to repeat the process.

Why does one of my cats like to eat my hair? I'm not kidding; she goes up behind me and chews on my hair. I call her my "hairstylist" and it's really funny...but I mean...

Why do they want to climb on top of my printer and create issues with the buttons. I'm bad enough with the stupid thing and they're only making it worse.

Why do they climb on the counter repeatedly even though they get sprayed with water every time? It's like they don't care. Oh...they probably don't.

OK....I love my cats, but answer those questions.

My friend told me she saw a cute little cat by a car outside and she was like awwww how cute and then it went BLEH! Threw up right in front of her. HAHAHA, every time I think of that I laugh out loud. FUNNNNNY.

Same here. I remember walking to school one day and this huge dog came galloping towards me and started barking like a maniac. Lucky for me the owner called him back quickly.

I remember I was walking by an abandoned junk yard and a pack of dogs came next to me and started walking behind me. I saw one dog that looked like the leader.
