I woke up Fat.

Yeah.

I woke up fat.

Over the past 1 1/2 years I've been trying to "bulk up" on muscle, sort of like a JoeyCoco thing.

The problem is that for every pound of muscle I gain, I gained a pound of fat with it.

I've gone from a 33 inch waist to 36, at 220 some odd pounds. And though I'm slowly losing the fat again, I'm scared that I'll lose the muscle along with it. So I'm trying not to lose it quickly. This shit is tricky.

Does anyone know how I can lose the fat without losing so much muscle? I don't want to go back to were I was 2 years ago, were I was thin/medium, but with a so-so frame. I want a muscular, butch ass frame.


Oy. My body is a premadonna. I really need to figure out how this shit works and nip it in the bud. shrug

I've increased my protein intake but I'm only drinking soy protein.

I actually like Soy Protein woot!, and can't stand whey. I think I'm allergic to whey, pork and shrimp. When I cut those out of my diet, my eczema is getting better.

30 minutes a day on elliptical at 80% my max heartrate. But I've only been doing that for about 2 months. I start off on the machines before doing my workout which is:

1) chest/tris - day one
2) back/bis - day two
3) legs/shoulders - day 3
day 4 is rest.



If it was a matter of slimming down, I wouldn't be too alarmed. I know how to slim down and could do it in about 3 or 4 months. But I want to slim down maintaining as much muscle bulk as I can. sigh

that actually looks like a good exercise regiment, maybe u need to up your weights and push yourself a bit more.

i've been waking up fat, but it's probably because since easter i've been lifting kit-kat bars and increasing my candy intake. woot!
