One of my friends has hot tub nite at her house once a month. It was last nite.

All my friends are either my size or a little bit bigger.

I didn't go last nite, even thought I really wanted to, cuz I felt fat and that I mite not be the skinniest one there.

Then I lied about it.

I wish for you healthy perspective about your body could be a shame for you to spend the rest of your life missing out with friends and lying about it because you are uncomfortable in your body




My confession ...

I am bothered by a couple friends lack of owning their thoughts and actions and not taking responsibilty for the outcome of their choices. I want to tell them, though I do not want the drama before I leave on my vacation

The last time I was in public in a swim suit was 2003 and that's only cause I was in Vegas and it was 100+ degrees and there was the promise of cute cabana boys bringing me peach daquiris.

Whenever I have to meet someone new I get insecure and feel fat. Once I changed clothes like four times because I was going to meet on of my sister's friends.
Once my sister and I were shopping and we tried on the same size jeans and I asked her if she was getting them and she said "no they don't fit" and I said "they fit me fine but the pockets looked weird" in reality they didn't fit but I had too much pride to say that.
