I'm 22 and my sister is 20 and she doesn't like me. We have nothing in common (we don't even shop alike) She "jokingly" called me fat. You don't tell cruel jokes to someone you like I'm trying very hard to lose weight and want to lose at least 5lbs by the time she comes home for summer (yes I live w/ my parents but I work and contibute and I have sezuires so it's probably not a good idea to live alone yet) My sister has some rich friends she thinks are the world and treats me (and sometimes our parents) like hicks. It probably doesn't help that I'm a janitor (I get paid alot though) I think the only way to make her like me is to get a glamourous makeover and lose about 10 lbs. But makeovers take time so how can I make her like me before I turn into a hottie?

Best bet is to act and treat yourself in ways that show yourself and others that YOU like YOU

You don't have to lose weight so your sister likes you
You better talk to her and ask her if there's something you can do to get closer again. If she tells you to lose weight it's time to say goodbye.It's her that needs help

I'm constantly in touch with all my direct family. I think that's the best and don't like it when I hear of hatred between siblings
