Brushing Knots Out Of Your Pet's Fur Does anybody have some hints about how I can get two good sized knots out of my cat's fur? They are located around his neck area, and no matter how much I brush and brush, I can't seem to get them out. Cutting them out would be my last resort, and I really don't want to do that. I know that there are a lot of pet owners here on the org, and wondered if anybody had some tips about what works for them? Thanks. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

If brushing the matts does not remove them then cut them out are use a matt stripper ( razor blade type thing ) if it's common they get the matts brush that area daily to prevent futher matts building up

the dog we are sitting is getting some dreds, so we went to my sister-in-laws house and I was gonna borrow the dogbrush, and we forgot it.
we also left the dog there by accident
